Appointments

We have an appointments system – appointments are for 10 minutes – If you have more than one problem you may feel you need to ask for a double appointment. Urgent and non-urgent appointments may be arranged by telephone or in person.

Non urgent medical advice

For any non urgent medical advice you could telephone 111 this service is available 24/7

Test Results

Please telephone between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm, Monday - Friday for results of tests requested by your doctor. The doctor or nurse will advise you when a result should be available and the receptionist will pass the doctor’s comments on to you.

Cancelling your Appointment

If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or call to let us know. 

Did not attend their GP or Nurse appointments

In the month of October 42 patients failed to attend their appointment with their doctor and 72 patient did not attend their booked appointment with the practice nurse.  Please make sure you telephone the surgery if you are unable to make your appointment, these could have been used by someone else.

IA - Improved Access

A number of appointments are now available in Lowestoft for our patients, early morning, in the evening & on weekends, we hope these help you access healthcare at more convenient times.

Cutlers Hill Surgery patients are being offered appointments at: -

Victoria Road Surgery, 82 Victoria Rd, Lowestoft NR33 9LU

Alexandra Road Surgery, Alexandra Road, Lowestoft NR32 1PL

Rosedale Surgery, Ashburnham Way, Carlton Colville, Lowestoft NR33 8LG.

These appointments are with different types clinicians dependent on their availability, GP’s, Nurse Practitioners, Emergency Care Practitioners, General Nurses, Pharmacists & Health Care Assistants. We hope these help you access healthcare at more convenient times.

 

These appointments can only be booked by ringing your registered  surgery. If you are booked one of these appointments you will be asked for your consent for us to share your medical record with the clinician providing your appointment.
