Dispensary

The dispensary is open from 08:30-18:30, and will be closed from 13:00-14:00 for repeat medication collection. The phone lines are closed between 12:00 -16:00.

As of the 1st December 2022, the Dispensary telephone will be available between the times of 8:30 – 11:00, and between 16:00 – 17:00 only from Monday to Friday. The Cutlers Hill Dispensary is open for collections Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:30-18:30.

Extended Hours

The surgery offers ‘Extended Hours’ appointments on variable week day evenings between 18:30 and 20:00, and on Saturday mornings 08:30 – 14:00 once every two months, depending on demand. If you require an appointment during extended hours, please discuss this with our reception team when booking an appointment

Out of Hours Service

If you do need to contact the practice outside of surgery hours (between 18:30 and 08:00, Monday to Friday) call the usual surgery number and you will hear instructions on how to contact the out of hours service. If you prefer to contact the local Out Of Hours service direct, please ring 111

Between 18:30 and 08:00, Monday to Friday, and all day at weekends and on Bank Holidays your call will be redirected to the NHS 111 service.

Casualties and Minor Injuries

If possible, please report to the Minor Injuries Clinic at the surgery any time between 08:30-18:00 Monday to Friday where we have facilities to treat you. A qualified nurse is available to see you, and a doctor will be called to see you when the nurse considers it to be appropriate. Outside of these times patients should report to Casualty at James Paget Hospital in Gorleston.

Emergencies

In a genuine emergency you should call 999 and ask for an ambulance. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute as an emergency.
