Flu information

It’s that time of year again!

We are launching our Flu and COVID campaigns 2025/2026. This year we will be running these as two separate campaigns with Flu starting on 1st October 2025 and COVID starting around 1st November 2025.

Please check the information below and if in doubt call our friendly reception team who can advise. We ask patients to call after 2pm where possible and try to avoid 8:30am to 11am.

We have Saturday 11th October 2025 (Flu) appointments available now from 8:30am until 2pm. We will also be adding extra days and evening appointments throughout the following weeks.

Flu

Those eligible include:

Those aged 6 months to under 65 years in clinical risk groups (Chronic respiratory disease: Such as asthma or COPD, Chronic heart disease and vascular disease: Including chronic heart failure, Chronic liver disease, chronic kidney disease: Such as CKD stages 3, 4, or 5, Chronic neurological disease, Diabetes mellitus, Adrenal insufficiency, Splenic dysfunction or asplenia)

People aged 65 and over.

Pregnant women.

Frontline health and social care workers.

Those in long-stay residential care homes

Carers in receipt of carer’s allowance or main carer of an older or disabled person

Household contacts of immunocompromised individuals

Additionally, children aged 2 and 3, and primary and secondary school-aged children are offered the vaccine.
