Dispensary
The dispensary is open from 8:30am to 6:30pm, and will be closed from 1pm to 2pm for repeat medication collection.
The dispensary phone are available between 8:30am and 11am, and between 4pm to 5pm only from Monday to Friday.
The Cutlers Hill dispensary is open for collections Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30am and 6:30pm.
Doctors schedule
The doctors have varying appointment times but are normally available during the week as follows. The exact times of availability may be obtained from the receptionist. We also currently use regular locums.
- Dr Nair – Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday all day.
- Dr Himan Amarawickrama Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
- Dr Hardman – Monday and Thursday.
- Dr Claudia Walker – Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

Enhanced access
Appointments available at Bungay surgery and Beccles medical centre.
Evening and Saturday appointments are now available at a number of local practices, to enable patient choice. These appts are available to speak with GP’s, advanced nurse practitioners, and nurses, at a time which may be more convenient for you. There will be cervical screening appts as well.
These appointments are available from 6:30pm to 8pm on weekdays, and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays. The clinician will have access to your notes to ensure safe and effective treatment plans.
Contact the surgery to book an enhanced access appointment at a local practice in the Primary Care Network, at either Beccles Medical Centre or Bungay Medical Practice.
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
Casualties and minor injuries
If possible, please report to the Minor Injuries Clinic at the surgery any time between 8:30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday where we have facilities to treat you. A qualified nurse is available to see you, and a doctor will be called to see you when the nurse considers it to be appropriate. Outside of these times patients should report to Casualty at James Paget Hospital in Gorleston.
